Slow down, breathe
Movement can become a form of escape. Life unchecked unfolds at a velocity that blurs relationships, memory, and place. Recovery becomes less about return and more about reconstruction, a slow threading together of what has been split.
This project follows the arc from disconnection to reconstitution. Layered multiple exposures (in camera) mimic the nonlinear experience of healing. Family, presence, and daily ritual become the materials for rebuilding. The images hold texture and fracture, mirroring how intimacy is both delicate and fleeting.
